Come to a Northeast Corridor Public Scoping Meeting at the Massachusetts State Transportation Building, 10 Park Plaza Boston, from 4:30-7:30pm EST Monday August 13th to find out. After several years without one, the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has issued a Notice of Intent to do a new Environmental Impact Statement for possible rail improvements along the Northeast Corridor (NEC). The Boston meeting is the first of nine scheduled public meetings in states along the corridor and the District of Columbia where the public is invited to learn about and comment on proposed improvements to transportation systems in the region and the potential economic growth connected with these projects.
